Mars, Roman God of War, glows red in the sky. Hated by the Gods, yet adored by Venus he is strongly sexual, powerfully built and irresistibly masculine. He is always depicted in battle-dress.

Mars is the planet of action, aggression and drive. It brings courage, passion, strength and fury. The qualities of Mars are best seen in dynamic Aries, the irrepressible first sign of the Zodiac. Those born under this sign are highly competitive, decisive and energetic yet have a tendency towards selfishness, rudeness and even aggression.
